I. F. Sustainability

Agenda 21 call for Sustainability in all aspects of human life.

The term “sustainable development” entered the vocabulary during the 1990’s and has virtually permeated every facet of American life. The term was first defined in the United Nations 1987 report of the World Commission on Environment & Development called “Our Common Future”. The Commission was chaired by Gro Harlem Brundtland who was also Vice-Chair of the World Socialist Party.

Our Common Future defines sustainable development to be:

“Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

The object of this group is to turn land back to its original nature regardless of the impact on HUMANS. One just as to look at the EPA regulations destroying tens of thousands of acres of farmland turning it back into a dust bowl in order to save a 2 inch bait fish that they determined night some day become extinct.  Because of this ruling California has lost jobs, revenue, farmers lost private land  and America has lost its ability to feed its citizens.

Why?  One just has to look at the people who put the plan together to see what they say……

We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination…
So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements
and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance
is between being effective and being honest.

Stanford Professor of Climatology,  lead author of many IPCC reports

9/14 On September 20th, call both of your U.S. Senators and demand that they maintain the House restrictions on the sustainability planning grants and the caps on planning expenses now called for in the Fiscal Year spending bill. Tell them America cannot afford these grants. The cuts will save billions of dollars and keep special interests out of your community
planning decisions. Tell them you oppose Sustainable Development.

What is Smart Growth?  The overwhelming preference for detached, single family housing versus Smart Growth planners who prefer multi-family dwellings and who skate around the central issue – density – that determines what type of housing can actually be built.

“The only logical conclusion is that international trade agreements…are designed to benefit the poorest countries, at the expense of the American people, leveling the “playing field”, lowering the American standard of living down to the “sustainable” level of third-world status. In other words, unemployment in America, the loss of our jobs, the shrinking of the American way of life, the eradication of our freedom to travel, the elimination of the middle class is socially and environmentally “sustainable.” The wealth of the American people is to be redistributed to the poorest nations, in accordance with chapter 3 of Agenda 21. Our consumption patterns have to be changed in accordance with chapter 4 of Agenda 21.”         –Darren Weeks  newswithviews.com

This was first published in 2009 and we now all know that it is true…so why do our Representatives keep voting for more Job Destroying Trade Agreements? This past December Both of our Senators, Rubio and Nelson Voted for the Korea Trade Agreement as did Bilirakis, Nugent, Mack and 216 other Republicans 59 Democrats.
